Rivals AMD and Intel have agreed today to end all antitrust and patent suits. Intel will pay AMD $1.25 billion dollars in the settlement, stemming from the 2005 suit that AMD filed citing Intel used its dominant position to unfairly compete. Intel and AMD have had ongoing legal battles dating back to the 1980’s.
