This is for our IT professional friends. If you are struggling with any issues with GoToAssist not seeing more than one of your cloned computers it probably means that the machine was cloned with the client installed. This means the “UserID” that was generated when GoToAssist was originally installed is the same for all of the machines.
Warning – we in no way warrant the following, if you feel comfortable with what we’re recommending and know how to backup this particular hive you may proceed at your own discretion.
The easiest way to resolve the issue is to uninstall GoToAssist then delete the following:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Citrix\GoToAssist Express Customer]
After this re install the software and you should find that the machine will show up correctly on the GoToManage platform and elsewhere.
