Pre-sales Information
Our job starts the moment you call, Email, or run into us at a trade show. Our role is to make sure that we listen carefully to your questions and work to provide you with the resources that you need. This process allows you to qualify us as a suitable business partner and for us to qualify your need as something that we can deliver a solution for. These informal discussions usually involve phone calls, face-to-face meetings, web conferences, and demos.
Site Surveys and Demos
In many cases, the needs are simply too complex to sketch out a solution on a napkin over lunch. We will often recommend a site survey and/or demo installation to gather detailed information about your requirements or in the case of a demo to provide proof of concept that the approach we agreed on will work with your special requirements. The more complex the solution, the more important the planning and proving steps become. You can rely on our project management and IT experience to help you navigate even the most complex projects.
Implementation Services
While some of the projects we participate in have ample IT and maintenance staff resources to handle most of the implementation, others do not. When we bundle implementation services it is based on one of these models:
- Specific Deliverable
- Turn-Key Solution
- A portion of a larger project or initiative
- Time and Materials
- Hourly services
- Consultation
- Project Management
Turn-Key solutions are all-inclusive and include the software, labor, and supplies required to deliver a solution. In some cases, we will just agree to a specific deliverable, upfront, before we visit your facility or provide service remotely. You know exactly what you’re getting and what you are paying for. Some projects don’t really fit a specific deliverable, in those cases, we offer a time and materials option so you can pay as you go.
Facilitation and Project Management
In most cases, Managed Solutions acts as a facilitator and manages certain aspects of each project. This is clearly spelled out in our agreements with our customers.
Joe from Managed Solutions is like a guidance counselor for us as we weighed our options. He was never pushy; always helpful and responsive. The software and the hardware have worked without a problem. Any questions or calls were returned quickly and we’ve never felt so supported. Consulting
Many of the services we offer are included into the project, but we are also available at our customers request to perform a variety of consulting services related to new technology implementation. Let’s say for example our customer is short staffed in a particular area, they can call on us to take up some of the slack during the project. Based on our unique value and history as an IT provider, this can be an area where we can move quickly to fill gaps that inevitably come up from time to time.
Maintenance and Service Contracts
While we do pride ourselves on our service, some of our customers have requested service packages that include a specific service level agreement or response times. To accommodate that we offer priority support packages to all of our customers. These are addressed during our proposal process and offered as a part of our solution in most cases.
