Jetski Doctor
GE has a great video out that demonstrates how smaller versions of devices are revolutionizing the way healthcare is delivered. In this case it’s a portable device that allows a doctor to perform an ultrasound for a patient after riding a Jetski to her remote location. Pretty cool all around but also a nice demonstration of how the advancements in technology are paving the way for a whole new approach to just about everything.

Planetary Resources Responds

Planetary Resources doesn’t want to be seen as compromising on their mission, it’s great that they cared enough to do outreach and tell their side of the story. This is a great lesson for all of us, don’t be afraid to tell your story and give someone else the chance to get it wrong.
